My 10 year old daughter just finished reading
Lady Jennifvier's Quill Never Ending Bad Day and absolutely loved it. It touched bases along the lines of being reminded that each day should come to an end and make the best of it. I love that my daughter was able to comprehend the world that Lady Jenniviere painted to effortlessly with her easy to follow descriptions and flow of the story. The characters were perfectly rounded for younger readers and made for a great entertaining book that my daughter couldn't put down.
When asked if the story had taught her anything all I could really get out of her was,
"We should always make good choices because good choices today make for netter choices tomorrow".
I love that my daughter was able to pull such a great conclusion after reading this. Truly, honestly, I recommend this book for preteens and tween. (or are those the same?)
