A bit behind.

I feel as if I’m in a funk. A crafting funk. It’s like all my original ideas and inspiration has taken a vacation. But, then again I’m in the middle of planning Aggie’s 3rd birthday party! 10 more days until it’s official, Selene Agnes will have been with us for 3 years!!! I love her so much, but she’s such a menace. I guess you could say I know Denise the Menace's mother felt. Overwhelmed with love and aggravation. LOL!

I am in the middle of making a few very cute prizes  for a quiz I held on Facebook.com and the two swaps I’m participating in on ravelry.com. Not to mention the socks that I’m trying to make… I would like to emphasize trying…I was wanting to make a pair of magic loop socks on circular needles. Alas, the ones I purchased were not long enough to work the magic loop method, and I don’t’ rightly know what else to do with a set of size two circulars. I was really excited about them too. I bought three skeins of a gorgeous merino wool sock yarn and two more of a wool acrylic blend. So, I began to make tube socks with my d crochet hook. It was all going well until I got to the heel. So, now I’m stuck to heel or not to heel… sigh. I just want to wear my socks….

Stephen and I along with his BFF and his girlfriend went flea marketing this past Saturday. He was after racecar part while I was looking for anything that caught my eye. Though he didn’t find what he was after I got Aggie a little pink folding chair for her to use come football season, an adorable Minnie Mouse Doll to use for her Birthday, and finally found Mikey a more manly sheet for his bed. Poor little fella, all he had was yellow flowers until now. My fault I know… But he did have a most excellent  quilt and bumper set for the cradle.

I was particularly proud of this set., especially the quilt. But, I guess that’s all I’ve got for ya’ll tonight. I’m hoping to post up my sock dilemma tomorrow. That is depending on how I feel. My allergies have flared up and I had an asthma attack this morning. It’s time to go to the doctor again :/ Ciao!
